{Tour Discription}
From Reykjavik we venture into the scenic southwest through fertile farmlands out to the glacier Myrdalsjökull. Up at the glacier hut we will switch our means of transportation and hop on snowmobiles to explore the glacier in all its beauty! If weather cooperates, views will be stunning and unforgettable from up here!
After this adventure we will get on board of our jeeps again and start out for a jeep safari along some of the most spectacular volcanic black beaches Iceland has to offer!
Already from a distance we will see Skogarfoss, which is counted among the most beautiful waterfalls of the country. A great stop to soak up some of the powerful energy these falls boasts.
Further along on the way back west we will arrive at Seljalands-waterfall - the only waterfall in Iceland where you can walk up to and seemingly through until you find yourself behind its cascading waters.
Back on our jeeps we will tackle a couple river crossings before we arrive at the glacier lagoon at Gigjökull glacier for a nice scenic break. Here we find ourselves at the gate to the famous hiking paradise Thorsmörk Valley. Just peaceful majestic glaciers, bubbling rivers and the eventual bird singing…a mind-lasting scenery to take back in your soul to Reykjavik.
